The Aviation Museum is a great place to take your family. You will have so much fun there. At the Aviation Museum there are a lot of cool planes. For example, one plane is painted like a shark. Also, there are rides, games, and simulations you can do. For example, for one simulation you get to drive an airplane through different obstacles. Some day you should come to the Kalamazoo Aviation Museum.

If you are looking for a fun place to spend the day at, you should go to the Kalamazoo Air Museum! The museum opened to the public in 1979. It was opened by Suzanne and Pete Parish. They were married and they were both pilots. Suzanne and Pete Parish loved airplanes and wanted to create a place where people could learn about airplanes up close. Suzanne and Pete Parish wanted people to come to the museum since loved airplanes so much. They wanted to show them to the world! The first airplanes in the museum were combat airplanes. The museum also expanded in 1986 and again in 1994. I know that the museum expanded, and I think it expanded because there were so many airplanes and exhibits they didn’t have enough room for all of them. In 1995 it was picked to be the home of the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame! I think it is such an honor to become a part of the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame because if you go there you can see how much effort people gave to become a part of the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame! The Kalamazoo Aviation Museum is a great place to visit. It is located on Portage Road in Portage, MI, 49002, just south of Kalamazoo and the Battle Creek International Airport. At the Air Zoo there is a cost for rides. For example, each ride costs $2, or for unlimited rides it costs $8. The hours are Monday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm, and the best time to go is the summer time, because you want it to be warm for the outdoor exhibits. If you visit you should also know that there are some good restaurants in Kalamazoo.
